Mixed collection of Norwegian banknotes from Norges Bank, with an emphasis on notes from the war and post-war period, along with a few older examples. The collection consists of several denominations, including 1, 2, 5 and 10 kroner, dated from ca. 1915 to the 1960s.
Among the contents is an older 10-krone note from 1915 in poor condition, several 1- and 2-krone notes from 1940-1944, as well as 5-krone notes from the 1950s-60s and 10-krone notes from 1961. The notes display classic Norwegian banknote design with portraits, the coat of arms and decorative patterns.
The quality varies considerably, from relatively nice examples to notes with visible wear, stains and damage. This makes the collection best suited as a starter or study collection, or for further sorting.
