Antique advertising ashtray in porcelain with decoration for "Cigarettes Egyptiennes" from Ed. Laurens, Alexandria, Le Caire (Egypt). The ashtray has a characteristic leaf shape and is decorated with period-typical advertising graphics related to Egyptian cigarettes and tobacco history from the late 1800s or early 1900s.
The motif shows, among other things, the text "Le Khédive", as well as brand and product names such as Royal Derby and Figaro. This is a decorative collector's item within tobacciana, advertising history and antique porcelain.
