Description
Small commemorative dish from Stavangerflint featuring a portrait of Crown Princess Märtha of Norway (1901–1954). The dish has a decorative gold-coloured rim and is marked Stavangerflint on the underside.
Crown Princess Märtha was married to Crown Prince Olav and was the mother of King Harald V. Following her death in 1954, various commemorative items were produced in her honour, including this decorative dish.
An interesting collector's item within Norwegian ceramics and royal memorabilia.
