Traditional wooden matryoshka set consisting of 3 hand-painted dolls that nest inside one another. Made in the classic Russian folk art style with hand-painted faces and floral decoration.

The matryoshka doll, also known as the babushka doll, became popular in Russia from the late 1800s and is one of the country's most well-known handicraft products. The dolls symbolise family and generations, and are produced in many different sizes and styles.

The set consists of three dolls that nest inside one another and are sold together as shown in the pictures.
