Description

Traditional Swedish hunting dirk/dagger from Eskilstuna. The knife is marked "MCB 1927" at the ricasso and features a richly decorated metal scabbard with Norse ornaments and Viking ship motifs. Dark carved wooden handle with metal fittings and a cross-shaped crossguard.

• Likely dates from the first half of the 1900s

• Measurements:
  - Length in scabbard: approx. 25 cm
  - Blade length: approx. 12.5 cm

• Condition:
  Good used condition with age-related wear, patina, some surface rust and signs of use on blade and scabbard. The leather loop on the scabbard shows wear.
