Description
An older traditional Norwegian sheath knife (tollekniv) with a barrel-shaped wooden handle and nickel silver ferrules. Includes a leather sheath with pressed nickel silver mounts and a hanging strap.
Origin: Norway
Date: early 1900s
Material: Wood, steel, nickel silver and leather
Knife length: Approx. 19.5 cm
Sheath length: Approx. 15 cm
Condition: Antique/vintage condition with signs of age and use. Patina and older sharpening marks on the blade, natural surface wear on the handle and sheath. Please see photos for condition, as the photos form part of the description.
