Traditional vintage bunad knife / dress knife w/ chased metal sheath - Marked Brd Co

Handsome traditional Norwegian bunad knife / dress knife in metal and leather. The knife has a shaped handle and sheath in engraved/chased metal (nickel silver/plated metal) with tight borders and a traditional acanthus/scroll-inspired pattern. 

The sheath has a leather hanging strap with metal loop and a ball finial at the tip. The blade is stamped/marked «Brd Co».

• Condition:
  Used, vintage condition. The blade shows signs of use, age-related surface rust/patina and has been sharpened/honed. The handle and sheath have a nice sheen with natural age patina in the metal. The leather hanger is intact. Please see photos for condition, as these form part of the description.
