Description
Small porcelain jug with a glossy black surface, horizontal gold stripes and a gold-coloured handle. This is No. 2 of two matching jugs in the auction.
The execution bears a very close resemblance to documented examples catalogued as Porsgrund Porselen from the period 1948–1952. However, this jug has no visible factory mark, and the manufacturer and dating cannot therefore be determined with certainty.
• Material: Porcelain
• Marking: No visible factory marking
• Height: approx. 12 cm
• Width: approx. 9.5 cm
• Condition: Appears to be in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks or repairs. The gold decoration appears well preserved in the photos.
