Cathrineholm Saturn Enamel Bowl – Grete Prytz Kittelsen ca. 1960s

Classic enamelled steel bowl from the sought-after Saturn series produced by Cathrineholm in Halden. The series was designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen and is characterised by the distinctive horizontal rings that give the bowl a clear mid-century modern expression.

This variant has a black exterior with red decoration and a solid red interior. The Saturn series was produced in smaller numbers than the more well-known Lotus series and is today popular among collectors of Norwegian enamel and Scandinavian design.

The bowl is suitable both as a functional item and as a decorative collector's piece.
