Egg Stand with Egg Cups, Porsgrunn Porselen ca. 1911–1935

Decorative egg stand from Porsgrunn Porselen, produced in the period ca. 1911–1935. The stand is made of white porcelain with a wavy form, gilt detailing and a humorous «Kona på landet» design in the centre. Around the rim runs text and small hen motifs, giving the set a distinctive and nostalgic character.

The stand holds six egg cups and makes a charming addition to the breakfast table, as well as a decorative collector's item within Norwegian porcelain.
