Freia Cake Plate – Porsgrund Porselen, ca. 1995

Decorative cake plate from Porsgrund Porselen featuring a classic Freia motif, produced ca. 1995. The plate is richly decorated with an advertising-inspired design and text taken from Freia advertisements and a baking book from the early 1900s.

At the centre is an illustration of a child and a cake, along with the text "Saa vellykket bakverk faar man naar man anvender Freia Bakepulver", based on advertising material from ca. 1931. The motif is inspired by illustrations from Freia's baking book from 1929. Along the rim are also the words "Kakao Regia" and "Dronning Sjokolade", underscoring the nostalgic advertising character of the piece.

The plate comes with a wall mount and is well suited both as a serving plate and as wall decor, particularly for collectors of Freia advertising and Norwegian porcelain.
