Coffee Service – Porsgrunds Porselensfabrikk c. 1950–60

This delicate coffee set from Porsgrunn Porselensfabrikk is designed by Nora Gulbrandsen and was produced in the period from 1950 to 1960. The set has a clean Art Deco/Functionalist form with a beautiful decor in orange-red/rust-red and white. The edges are hand-painted with a metallic band, believed to be gold gilding, giving it an exclusive touch.

The coffee set consists of a coffee cup, matching saucer, and a side plate/breakfast plate. The pure geometric shape and the restrained use of colour make this set a timeless decorative item, perfect for both everyday use and collecting.
