Lisa Larson Lilla Zoo – sitting cat

Sitting cat in reddish-brown, partially glazed stoneware, designed by Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg, Sweden. The slender neck, pale face and decorated front paws give it a distinctive expression.

From the Lilla Zoo series, designed in 1955. This is an older example; its exact production year is undocumented. The blue-and-white Gustavsberg design label is retained.

Very good vintage condition with light surface and contact marks. Please inspect the photographs for details. Variations in glaze and surface are part of the ceramic finish.
