Commemorative Coin 25 Kroner 1970 – Liberation in Frame ca. 1970

Norwegian commemorative coin of 25 kroner from 1970, issued in memory of the liberation on 8 May 1945. The coin is mounted in a decorative pewter frame with an openwork pattern, and has a fastening device on the reverse so it can be worn as a brooch or pendant.

The obverse shows King Olav V, while the reverse bears the text "Frigjøringen 8. mai 1945" (The Liberation, 8 May 1945). The combination of silver coin and decorative frame gives it a distinctive and collectible character.
