Money Box in Book Form, Bøndernes Bank Skien ca. 1920–40

Decorative money box designed as a book from Bøndernes Bank in Skien. Made of embossed and coloured metal with a red cover and gilded details at the corners.

The front is richly decorated with the bank's name and the slogans «Spar til et formål» and «Trygg din fremtid». The back bears the text «Mange bekker små gjør en stor å», a classic savings message. The spine is designed as a book spine with the text «Spare bok».

The money box has a coin slot at the top and represents a typical advertising and savings object from the first half of the 20th century. Sold without a key, but contains some coins.

A charming collector's item with clear historical character, well suited for decor or collecting.
