Tollekniv (Norwegian Sheath Knife) – J. Kaasa with Decorated Leather Sheath, ca. 1950–70

Traditional Norwegian tollekniv signed J. Kaasa, with a handle in curly birch and richly decorated leather sheath. A solid piece of craftsmanship from Telemark, with classic design and choice of materials that give the knife an authentic and timeless character.

The blade is marked J. Kaasa and has a shape typical of Norwegian utility knives. The curly birch handle displays a beautiful natural grain pattern in the wood. The accompanying brown leather sheath is richly decorated with embossed patterns and has a hanging strap.

A fine example suitable both for collecting and practical use.
