Vintage Certina Waterking Wristwatch, ca. 1965–1966, Manual Wind

Classic Swiss Certina Waterking from ca. 1965–1966, reference 5101 068. The silver/champagne-coloured dial features a sunburst finish, gold-toned hands, faceted hour markers and applied Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock.

The watch has a compact stainless steel case and is fitted with a new brown leather strap. An elegant vintage manual wind wristwatch with a distinctive 1960s expression.

Condition The watch is running. Measurements taken with a Weishi 1900 timing machine show approximately +64 seconds per day, an amplitude of 173° and a beat error of 0.3 ms. These measurements reflect conditions at the time of testing and are no guarantee of precision in daily use. Cleaning and servicing are recommended to improve performance.

The case shows scratches, fine circular marks and age-related wear, including on the case back. The acrylic crystal has been polished but still shows some cracks and fine scratches. The dial and hands show light spotting and age-related patina. The strap is new.
