Vintage 10 Karat Gold Ring with Large Purple Stone, c. 1960–70

Lovely vintage ring in 10 karat gold with a large, drop-shaped, facet-cut stone in a deep purple hue. The gold content has been tested with an XRF machine.

The stone sits high in a prominent claw setting. The ring shank features structured decoration on the sides, openwork sections and small bead-shaped details near the setting. The design gives the ring a distinctive character, likely dating from c. 1960–70.

The purple stone has not been further tested and is therefore offered without a confirmed material identification.
