Vintage ring in 8 karat gold with large purple stone, c. 1960-70

Beautiful vintage ring in 8 karat gold with a large, drop-shaped facet-cut stone in a deep purple colour. The stone is set in a high claw setting that gives the ring a striking and elegant look.

The wide ring band features a nicely structured design with smooth edges. The design and the substantial setting give the ring a distinctive vintage character, likely from around the 1960s-70s.

The purple stone cannot be reliably identified from photos alone, and is therefore listed without further material determination.

The ring has been tested with XRF and confirmed to be 8 karat gold.
