Varied collection of coins and medals from Samlerhuset and Den Kongelige Mynt in Kongsberg. The collection consists of several Norwegian commemorative coins in original cases, including 5 kroner 1975 issues with accompanying information, as well as various modern collector's coins and medals.
In addition, the collection includes several decorative and thematic medals and coins from both Norway and abroad, featuring motifs such as historical events, art (including the Mona Lisa), NATO anniversary, as well as more recent issues such as Olympic-related coins. The two larger bronze-coloured medals depicting wartime history (Oskarborg/Narvik) give the collection a distinct historical character.
The collection appears to be a mix of silver-coloured and gold-coloured coins/medals in capsules and cases, mainly produced for the collector's market. Sold as a lot, as pictured.
