Norges Bank 1 Krone – 1948 – Banknote (M Series)

Norwegian 1-krone banknote from Norges Bank issued in 1948 (replacement note or ordinary series based on letter prefix). The banknote bears the signature of chief cashier Erik Johansen (Erik J. Thøy). The front shows the denomination "EN KRONE" within a decorative border with serial number M.5045066. The reverse shows a green interlaced ornamental pattern with the numeral 1 and the text "KRONE". The banknote is held in a protective plastic sleeve.
