Hand-carved Beer Tankard with Lid by Magnus O. Sveen – dated 1981

Decorative hand-carved beer tankard with lid, richly ornamented with traditional acanthus carving. Signed and dated on the underside: "M.O. Sveen, Lora–Lesja, 1981".

Magnus O. Sveen was known for his ornamental carving and made, among other things, boxes, porridge ambers, fireplace bellows and beer tankards.
