Vintage Silver Brooch w/ Turquoise Cabochon - Filigree / Beaded Edge - Stamped 1000

Distinctive and decorative vintage/antique brooch in silver with an oval, pointed shape (marquise/navette form). The brooch features a centred oval turquoise-coloured cabochon stone (turquoise/glass paste), framed by a twisted wire border, faceted panels and detailed borders with bead edging/granulation on a dark, oxidised background. 

The reverse has a traditional long brooch pin with a simple C-clasp and is stamped «1000» within a cartouche (tested as minimum 925 silver).
