Floral sterling silver salt and pepper shakers, Mexico

Two decorative sterling silver salt and pepper shakers shaped as flowers, with curved petals, pierced centres and long stems with leaves. Both are marked underneath with 925, STERLING and HECHO EN MEXICO, among other marks.

The markings also include PLAT MEX S.A. and an eagle stamp containing the number 20. The exact production year has not been established. The shakers show different degrees of tarnish and patina, together with scratches, surface marks and minor unevenness. Sold together as shown in the photographs.
