Unn Tangerud for Uni David-Andersen: bronze jewellery set

Bronze jewellery set comprising a large pendant that can also be worn as a brooch, an accompanying chain, a ring and a pair of earrings. The pieces feature domed centres and pronounced relief decoration. Three articulated drops hang from the large pendant.

The pendant is signed Unn Tangerud for Uni David-Andersen. Tangerud was one of the jewellery artists at Uni David-Andersen's workshop, part of Norway's post-war jewellery design scene.

Condition

Signs of use, surface scratches and varying dark patina. Some greenish areas are visible, including near the edge of one earring. The brooch pin and catch are present on the back of the pendant. The clasp and fastening mechanisms have not been function-tested.
