Carved wooden panel with figures

Elongated wooden panel with a closely arranged composition of carved figures. The scene includes standing and seated figures with detailed clothing and headdresses, beneath a narrow border of smaller figures.

The figures are carved in relief with openwork details, allowing light and shadow to emphasise the different parts of the composition. The panel’s narrow horizontal format makes it a decorative focal point.
