Unimatic
Unimatic is an Italian watch brand founded in 2015 by industrial designers Giovanni Moro and Simone Nunziato. Its restrained design language draws on functional watches. According to the manufacturer's history, the first Modello Uno, reference U1-A, launched in 2015 in an edition of 300.
Modello Uno is also a family name used for later editions and collaborations. The U1-A production quantity therefore does not apply to every Modello Uno. Modello Due is a separate model family described by the manufacturer as inspired by field watches.
When assessing a pre-owned Unimatic, record the complete reference, numbering and documentation. Compare dial, case and movement with the correct edition rather than a visually similar model. Italian design and assembly do not establish Italian origin for every component. Check technical specifications for the actual reference rather than the brand's newer models.
