Antique Marius Hammer Neck Brooch in 830S Silver, Three Buttons with Leaves
Description
Rare opportunity! Beautiful, antique neck brooch / collar button for bunad or festive costume, crafted by the world-renowned Bergen silversmith Marius Hammer (active 1871–1927).
The brooch consists of three traditional buttons (domes) decorated with twisted silver wire (filigree technique), and three hanging, smooth triangular leaves that create an elegant play of light. This design is particularly well suited as a collar button at the top of the shirt on men's bunads (for example beltestakk or other historical costumes).
