Porcelain Figure of a Dipper – Porsgrund ca. 1970–80

Naturalistic porcelain figure of a dipper (fossekall) from Porsgrunds Porselensfabrik, designed by Kjell Loa. The figure is executed in glazed porcelain with soft transitions in brown, grey and white tones, giving a realistic rendering of this characteristic Norwegian bird.

The dipper is placed on a naturalistic base resembling stone, lending the figure a lively and decorative quality. The underside is clearly marked with Porsgrund's factory stamp, including an anniversary mark.

A classic Norwegian design figure well suited both as a collector's item and as decor.
