Porcelain Bird Figurine, GDR ca. 1960–80

Decorative porcelain figurine from the former East Germany (GDR), likely produced between 1960 and 1980. The figure depicts a stylised waterfowl with a long neck and characteristic beak, rendered in an elegant, calm seated posture.

The glaze is kept in muted, natural tones of beige and white, combined with darker detailing on the head that creates a pleasing contrast. The form is soft and modernist, typical of East German porcelain design from the mid-20th century.

The underside is stamped with «GDR» and model number 11008.
