Porcelain Figurine of a Hare – Porsgrund Håndverks-Studio, c. 1960–70

Large porcelain figurine of a seated hare from Porsgrunds Porselensfabrik, marked Porsgrund Håndverks-Studio. The figurine is executed in glossy glazed white porcelain with subtle brown-toned detailing on the ears, snout, paws and body.

The hare has a naturalistic and elegant expression with long upright ears and finely modelled details. Standing at a full 28.5 cm in height, this is a decorative Porsgrund figurine of good size.
