Rare Norwegian design classic by P.S. Heggen, designed by Einar Barnes and produced circa the 1960s. The elegant wastebasket has the characteristic organic form associated with Heggen's Norwegian mid-century design and appears to be made in teak veneer.
The piece is in very good vintage condition with only minor age-related wear. The wood is assessed as teak based on appearance and grain; the material has not been laboratory verified.
