Porcelain Figure «The Old Fishing Hole» – Lladró ca. 1993–2006

Lladró porcelain figure depicting a seated boy and dog, known as «The Old Fishing Hole» (Spanish: Niño Pescador). The figure was modelled by Antonio Ramos and produced during the period ca. 1993–2006.

Executed in Lladró's characteristic gres finish with matte, earthy tones and natural texture. The motif shows a young boy seated on a bridge or rock formation with a fishing rod (not visible here, but modelled as a fishing scene), together with a dog beside him. Detailed execution with fine textiles, basket and natural details gives a calm and narrative expression.
