Description
Oval box in cardboard/chipboard for "Home-grown Tobacco, Medium Cut", processed by J.L. Tiedemanns Tobaksfabrik.
On the underside, the original revenue band/label is preserved, with the text: "50 grams, Duty kr. 0.40, SMOKING TOBACCO, Value per 100 grams up to and including kr. 4.00", along with a stamp mark.
An exciting and decorative collector's item from the war years / rationing period, when people grew their own tobacco and delivered it to the factories for processing. Well preserved, with normal age-related wear/patina. Sold as a collector's item, as shown in the photos.
