Description
Oval box in cardboard/chipboard for «Norsk Tobakk» from Brødr. Frisholms Tobakkfabrik, Oslo.
The box is sealed with the original tax band/duty strip intact on the underside, reading: «50 gram – Avgift kr. 0,40 – RØYKETOBAK Verdi pr. 100 gram til og med kr. 4,00».
A rare and historically significant collectible from the wartime/rationing period, when tobacco was produced under local conditions. Good condition with natural age-related patina. Sold as a collectible, as shown in the photos.
