Anna Ehrner
Anna Ehrner is a Swedish designer and glass artist. Kosta Boda documents her work with the company since 1974 and identifies her as the designer of Contrast and Line. These ranges include different object types and must not be treated as a single product.
Coloured lines within glass recur in her work. They can assist comparison but cannot independently establish authorship. Many glass artists use coloured lines, so a similar pattern does not turn an unidentified vase into an Ehrner model.
For second-hand pieces, compare range name, shape, dimensions and colour with documented models. Examine the base, rim and surface for chips, scratches and repairs. Labels can provide useful evidence but should correspond to the object. Distinguish designer, manufacturer and executing glassworker: a design attribution does not mean the artist personally blew every example.
