Aerowatch
Aerowatch is a Swiss watch brand founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1910. Its name reflects an early interest in aviation. The range includes mechanical and quartz timepieces, while pocket watches form an important part of its history.
Different milestones
The maker distinguishes Maxime Crevoisier's takeover and move to Neuchâtel in 1942, Denis Bolzli's takeover in 2001 and a wristwatch collection introduced in 2005. The model name 1942 therefore cannot by itself date a particular watch.

Record reference, movement, case material and dial and back inscriptions. Distinguish mechanical winding from quartz operation. Pocket, pendant and modern wristwatches need appropriate comparison material. Check service history and components. Do not transfer current dimensions, water resistance, power reserve or equipment to older watches simply because they share the brand.
