Anna Talbot
Anna Talbot is a jewellery artist based in Oslo. Born in Leeds, she studied silversmithing and jewellery at London Metropolitan University and Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
In her own presentation she describes large, three-dimensional jewellery inspired by fairy tales, rhymes, songs and stories. Layered construction, strong colours and materials including anodised aluminium, wood veneer, brass and silver feature in her work. Narrative expression matters more than an assumption that jewellery must consist entirely of precious metal.
Keep titles, material lists, dimensions and documented provenance with a piece. Coloured or lightweight materials are not automatically later replacements. Compare documented works before attribution, and examine condition without separating or reshaping the construction's layers.
