Anne Ka Munkejord

Anne Ka Munkejord, also listed as Anne Kathrine Munkejord, is the glass artist associated with Glasshytta i Vivestad in Vestfold, Norway. The workshop's own website presents wine glasses, other drinking glasses, figures, candlesticks and bowls. In this context, the personal name and workshop name refer to the same artistic practice rather than two separate producers.

In her profile with Norske Glasskunstnere, she describes glass blown and shaped by hand, often in series, with attention to function and precision. She identifies the signature Anne Ka beneath the glasses. This provides a useful starting point for examination, but lettering should still be compared with the form and documentation.

Photograph the underside and complete object, recording height, diameter and differences within a group of glasses. Do not assume that every hand-blown glass in a similar colour is her work. Distinguish a signature from a later owner's inscription, and avoid assigning an unconfirmed series name or production year.
