Anne Nilsson
Anne Nilsson is a Swedish designer with a background in glass and ceramics. Kosta Boda documents her work for the company from 2001 to 2005 and names Pagod and Nero among her collections. She must be distinguished from other designers named Nilsson, including Wiwen Nilsson.
A designer’s period at a glassworks does not necessarily establish a model’s production span. Designs can remain in production afterwards. Dating every Pagod example automatically to 2001 to 2005 would therefore be misleading.
For second-hand pieces, compare range name, form, dimensions and colour with the manufacturer’s catalogue. Inspect bases and rims for chips, repairs and unusual surface wear. Retain labels and packaging as supporting evidence. Simple form alone cannot identify designer or producer, and attribution of a design does not mean the artist personally blew every example.
