anOrdain
anOrdain is a British watch brand with a workshop in Glasgow. Its own workshop history dates its foundation to 2016. Handmade enamel dials are central to its identity, but its range also includes porcelain dials.
The manufacturer distinguishes the constructions: enamel is applied to a metal disc, while porcelain dials have a ceramic body with glaze. These are different materials and processes. The official Model 1 Oxblood page describes hand-wound Sellita SW210 and automatic variants based on La Joux-Perret G101.
For a used example, match dial type, size and movement to the particular reference. Current catalogue information does not automatically describe an older watch. Document dial marks or damage separately and distinguish craft characteristics from later alterations.
