Aron Irving Li
Aron Irving Li is a Swedish-born metal and jewellery artist working in Oslo. He completed a bachelor's degree in visual art in 2013 and a master's degree in medium- and material-based art at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2015. Organic forms, symmetry and natural structures are central to his practice.
His work spans jewellery, objects and larger sculptures. His own archive documents copper works with beetle motifs from 2021, made by forging and chasing. These are specific examples of his metalwork, rather than evidence that every piece of jewellery is copper or uses the same technique.
Jewellery and wall objects should be recorded as different work types. Compare dimensions, material, technique and any title with provenance and the artist's documentation. Natural motifs or simple geometric forms alone cannot establish authorship.
