Bjørklund
Bjørklund is a Norwegian watch and jewellery retail chain. Its own presentation states that the assortment includes both its own jewellery designs and products from other brands. The name must therefore be interpreted in relation to the particular item: retailer, collection name and actual manufacturer are separate pieces of information.
The business also offers engraving, jewellery repairs and watch services, with a central workshop for specialist work. A sales or maintenance document from Bjørklund establishes the chain's involvement, but does not necessarily establish manufacture there. Traditional Norwegian costume jewellery sold by the chain may, for example, come from a separate silver manufacturer.
When assessing used items, examine the brand, material description, any marks and documented model. Retail packaging or a familiar chain name alone cannot establish gold content, age or workshop. An own-design claim must not be turned into an unsupported claim that the entire assortment was manufactured in Norway.
