Bjørn Engø

Bjørn Engø is documented in the National Museum of Norway as an artist and designer. A bowl from 1965 is made with enamel on copper and recorded as Norwegian decorative art. Other museum objects document collaborations with Emalox A/S, Arnold Wiigs factories, Gustav Bahus and Sandvika veveri.

On the secondary market, Engø's name may therefore identify the design or artistic responsibility while another company manufactured the object. Designer, manufacturer and retailer must not be confused. Material, technique, factory marks and documented model connections should be checked before attribution.
