Bremont
Bremont is a British watch brand founded in 2002 by brothers Nick and Giles English. The manufacturer's own history connects its origins with their interest in flying and mechanical objects. Pilot watches are consequently an important strand of its heritage. Bremont also presents collections organised around sea, land and air.
Brand and model are separate information
Identify a Bremont watch by its particular model and reference. The brand name alone does not establish its movement, case construction, power reserve or the place of manufacture of every component. A current specification sheet should not be applied to an older watch simply because it looks similar.
Buying and recording
Photograph the dial, case back, crown and reference details. Compare them with the manufacturer's documentation for the correct variant. Ask for service records and note whether its bracelet, strap, buckle and papers survive. Military styling or an aviation connection does not prove that the individual watch was issued to a pilot or unit. Such provenance needs separate evidence. Historical water-resistance specifications likewise do not establish the watch's present condition.
