Camilla Prytz

Camilla Prytz is a Norwegian artist and designer working with both jewellery and glass. Her name can therefore appear in connection with different kinds of collectable objects. Her own website presents the SWIRL glass collection developed for Magnor Glassverk.

Opro carries a collection of her enamel jewellery. One documented example is the eye-shaped Third Eye mini pendant, described by Opro as 925 silver and enamel, with a silver or gold-plated finish. Prytz is identified as the designer. This role must be distinguished from the workshop making the piece, and the pendant's material specification cannot be extended to all her work.

For identification, compare the motif, dimensions, finish and any labels or original packaging with documentation for the particular model. An eye motif alone does not prove who designed a jewel. A gold colour should not automatically be described as solid gold. Record glass and metal objects with their actual producer and documented materials.
