Circula
Circula is a German watch brand associated with Pforzheim. The brand’s own history identifies Heinz Huber as its founder and 1955 as its starting year. A name on a dial does not, by itself, establish the production date of an individual watch or identify the movement inside it.
Older and newer watches
Circula appears on older pre-owned watches and in newer collections. Current model information must not be treated as the specification of an older example. Case material, dimensions, movement and any water-resistance claim require evidence for the particular model. A German brand name does not mean that every component was manufactured in Germany.
What to examine
Compare the dial, case back, references and movement markings with documentation for the same model. Consider whether the hands, crown, dial and case belong together, and record replacements. Service records and measured timekeeping are more useful than an unsupported promise that a vintage watch performs like new.
