DuFrane
DuFrane is an American watch brand based in Austin, Texas. Founder Steven Lee describes its launch in 2016 and explains that the name is his mother's maiden name. The first series included the Bergstrom, a manually wound watch inspired by aviation timepieces.
The range subsequently included other functions. The manufacturer's Littlefield specification identifies an automatic Sellita SW330-2 GMT movement for displaying two time zones. This should not be treated as a shared movement for every DuFrane watch. Its own presentation describes assembly in Austin, which is distinct from the origin of movements and other components.
Record the model name, edition, movement and any replacement parts when identifying a watch. Compare documentation for the particular generation before assessing dimensions, functions and servicing needs. Hand assembly alone does not establish the condition or service history of a second-hand example.
