Eirin Bjørsland Hansen
Eirin Bjørsland Hansen is a Norwegian glass artist living and working in Haugesund. She studied at the Royal Danish Academy in Denmark and is a co-owner of Formbar Glassverksted. Her practice spans functional and sculptural objects.
On her own website, she presents Føniks as a series connecting colour transitions with sunrise, sunset and the mythical phoenix. Another concrete example is Jeg/I, listed by Norske Kunsthåndverkere under 2015 as a self-portrait with five glass elements and hand-engraved sentences. A dated work record does not date all of the artist's output.
When describing an example, distinguish artist, work title, maker and place of sale. Formbar is a shared studio, and purchase there alone does not establish that Hansen designed or made an object. Assess documented photographs, signatures and provenance together. Record scratches, chips, repairs and any engraved texts as they actually appear.
