Elliot Brown

Elliot Brown is a British watch brand. Its own timeline records trading beginning in March 2013 and presents Canford and Bloxworth as the first collections. The name refers to founders Ian and Alex rather than a single watchmaker called Elliot Brown.

Collections require separate technical identification. The manufacturer describes Tyneham as its first move into automatic movements. Specifications for a later automatic model therefore cannot describe every earlier Elliot Brown watch. Sporting styling alone does not establish functions either.

When assessing a used example, compare model, reference and movement with the correct documentation. Distinguish ordinary production from a documented collaboration edition. Logos or engravings on a used watch do not prove former operational service. Inspect the crown, crystal, strap and service history. Laboratory tests or publicity about another watch cannot establish the current water resistance of the example offered.
